Ritesh Agrawal

Mr Ritesh Agrawal is an entrepreneur, finance professional and educator. He is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of BackingBay, a reward-based crowdfunding platform that he started with Dr Rajeev Roy, Director of First Bridge. BackingBay helps creators, D2C start-ups and innovators raise money through pre-orders and rewards, without giving up equity or taking on debt.

A qualified Company Secretary, he secured All India Rank 3 in the CS Professional examination. He worked as a management consultant in the Financial Services Business Operations practice at Deloitte, and then as an expert consultant to the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, advising on public-sector finance, with particular expertise in accounting and assurance.

At First Bridge, he brings finance and accounting to life from both sides of the table: the rigour of audit and public finance, and the realities of building and funding a start-up.
